Maupin is located in Wasco County on Highway 197 between The Dalles and Central Oregon.

From Portland, Oregon to Maupin, Oregon
Take I-84 east to The Dalles. Take exit 87 in Madras, stay to the right and continue on Hwy 97. Travel approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with Hwy 197 (approx. 1 mile past a rest area on your left) Stay left at the junction, and follow Hwy 197 into Maupin.
